I just noticed my ability to chat in private message came & went as I am not sure when it exactly was removed but was their any reason why it was removed??

Ya see That link highlighted never was on my script or age, I used to to pm BigMike then just tonight I noticed it was gone but now it is there again…

Ability to private message was not removed… Even new users can go to PM Inbox to receive messages and post replies. Once you become Basic User (tl1) you can also see the button New Message to start new private topic in your Inbox.
Please be aware of various options when you click Reply:
Also members can opt-out from receiving PMs…
