Rhai88 & Friends... Games, Giveaways, and more! (Part 1)

Our postmaster said to always do ‘non-machinable’ if you do pucks-- the edges get caught in the sorters- where coin-flips are basically a ‘ramp’ or the washer to not get stuck…
Only makes sense that it would work to put pucks in flips- a pain in the ass… but I guess better than extra postage! :+1:

(note: our postmaster hangs out at the dispensary and local '‘smoke and toke’ coffee shop!)

A single peace of tape length wise of the card over the puck is enough, the angle of the tape smoothly guides the rollers over the puck. No need to put them in coin flips.

That adds up. I like that idea, tape works as a ramp over the puck :100:

Hmmmmm. So do you run the tape side to side……or top to bottom? Now that is the question.

I tape my coins into a thank you card which then acts as a buffer for the rollers with nothing catching.

I’m working right now on the winner of the Jew Gold 1974 auction and am doing as follows:

Card in hard case + coin in baggie (yes I know the concern but just wait those small folded sections of paper under them are here for a reason.).

1 piece of paper, cut in half, folded in half and then used as mini “envelopes” for each part.

They won’t slide around inside this 000 bubble mailer… teal because i’m a 90’s kid (and they were 30% off regular price!)

All closed up and just needs postage and a place to go.

Fuck these rollers. These will get through fine… (I hope).

 :crossed_fingers:

I third this.
I also take it a step further and use a recipe card type card over it.

I do one that I tape the pucks to, and then another one taped over it so it’s as smooth as possible going through the rollers

Yes also my mail person said to, in the USA, buy the non-machineable stamps they are $.74 I think and write non-machineable on package no rollers and gives you a little more weight.

@Lady.Zandra63 can tell you a non machine stamp doesn’t always work from personal experience! As well as writing on it.
