I remember being trained on a video editing system by the man that was the video editor for that children’s show back in Austin Texas. He looked just like a porn star with his pork chop side burns and Chuck Norris style hair cut.

HA! I may be a little older than you. I myself went to Disneyland twice in 1955, and by it’s anniversary in 1956, I was tired of the place. I way preferred Knott’s Berry Farm! The food was way better, and I particularly liked the the stage coach “ride.” It was in a real stage coach drawn by real horses, and you were breathing real dust! Nothing like that at Disneyland.

Wanna hear some weird shit…me and my brother were 13 years apart and his birthday was 4/20 but he passed in 2018
Yo @mota It took me a while longer, but in 1974 (or thereabout) my best friend and I “borrowed” his Dad’s caddie and drove from Chicago to S. Cal with a load of hash. Before anything else we went to Disneyland and despite the hidden eyes everywhere, we managed to smoke a bowl on every ride in the park! Only came close to getting caught once, on the Pirates of the Carribean when my buddy climbed out of the boat and tried to snag the manikin’s corn-cob pipe! The hidden eyes caught us and a voice came on over the speakers telling us to return to our seats! Hard part was, even though we’d had to return to our car when security hassled us at the entrance because of being barefoot or something, when we finished the day we had to ride the little worm-train around the parking lot for hours until everybody else left as we couldn’t remember where we’d parked!

Absolutely! It was a happy show for a 5 year old. By 1956, I liked it more than going to Disneyland, which I had to do 3 times a year.
