You guys remember my electrical fuck up. Well here is my water fuck up…

I was setting up coco last night like we all do when we get our cuts/start seeds etc. Well I decided to use my utility sink this time around to let the cups drain but in doing so I also knew I didn’t want all the coco going down my drain. It causes unwanted plumbing headaches and well NO. So I plugged my drain and was planning to shop vac out all the nasty water(easy and nothing goes down the drain). Well as time when on it got later and we kept getting distracted with the kid and puppies and just general ADD things(lol). So me being happy to have the cuts done and ready to roll I closed up shop not realizing I left the drain plug in. Which wouldn’t have been so bad had it not been the same drain my water softener also uses to regenerate every night at 2am.

Long story short I woke up to a utility FULL of water and a flooded garage floor. Thankfully nothing shorted or lost power to either of my 5x5’s.
(Could have been worse. Only minimal mitigation involved.)
