Alright so a quick overview for anyone interested.
System starts here
- Submersible pump. This unit I’m using is over 2k gph.
- Goes up to a 1/2in T that split to an elbow back into the rez(to mix my nutes) and also to a T that split between hand watering as well as a drip setup.
Once we follow the 5/8in drip line to the beginning of the setup you can see in the following photo there are two threaded end caps on the 1in" PVC drain line that acts as a clean out. I can hookup to straight up city water to blow these lines out with a hose when needed.
After this it’s pretty basic. The white lines to the plants are 1/4in and .5 gph netafim drip lines.
All of the runoff travels down to the “control” box which has a sump pump/filter and it pumps everything through a 3/4 vinyl tube that shoots into my utility sink. You can also see in these photos I have a line that runs from the drip line into the “control” box that acts as a flush option as well as I have an on/off valve at the end for total clean out for this system if needed.

So everyone is aware. I do hand water once or twice a week to do a full reset of the medium(saturation). It is crucial to keep your pots balanced and your plants healthy.

Has anyone ever used any powersi products?
I reached out to drip nutrients with the intent of trying their products and in talking to their VP he was kind enough to send me a sample of this flower additive. I guess drip is also owned by powersi. I did not know the companies were related.
Any input would be appreciated.

I noticed you used 4 way connectors on the bottom of you scrog set up. Is that so you can stack it if need be or just used what you had extra of?

I have heard really good things about PowerSi as a silica additive. It is pretty costly, surprised they sent a sample?

Yes. If needed I can add a second layer of trellis. Which I may up up needing to use because of one of the pheno’s I’m getting from what I’m calling “Curt’s Mystery” which I got from @CurtisCrosses is a TALL lady! Absolutely loving that specific plant. Any one who knows me I love tall lanky ladies. haha
Likewise. I’ve heard excellent things about their silica. I am curious to see how this bloom addition works along side Athena. I will be watering it in once I week by hand separate from my drip system. Would like to see how it works along side my normal program. Yeah I was surprised as well but I really appreciated it! Cool dude for sure.

Mom: (Blackwater) Unreal cotton candy grape smells with a slight gas behind it. This cut is to this day one of my favorite smellings plants I’ve ever grown with. While she was not a looker the terpene profile was amazing.
Dad: (Black Triangle x Cherry West bx) Chosen male was the Sour Apple straws candy pheno I found. Very stout and strong male.
