sterilizes the water to a certain extent, and adds o2 in the process

Those are the main reasons I use it. Also seeds float even when the shell opens, and mold/fungus growth from spores riding along on the shell are sterilized can won’t infect the taproot.

i use h2o2 to sterilize, just in case the seed itself has any bacteria on it that could cause it to damp off and die
