Over on the side of the island that has a south facing cliff there is a very remote spot, hardly even a path leads up to it.
It is rough going and very dangerous to get to but…
On the cliff face, if you sneak around the pointed rock you will find a cave that can only be seen from the water side.
The cave goes very vey deep into the cliff, and there is a vent of sorts at the waters level.
This vent blowing all through the cold rocks of the cliff, creates a sort of air-conditioning effect.
Perfect for a furry fella like you.
Welcome to the family!
onions, mushrooms, sweet potato, taro… hmmmmm
It’s Morel mushroom season here , they grow the year after a forest fire. Unfortunately I am missing out on fantastic mushrooms for cooking and they are worth hefty coin at the buyer camps too.
From the wilds of my little corner of the island, where the deer hunting was fantastic last season there is always something on the grill or in the smoker for weary travellers to feast on.
I will also sponsor/vouch for ya @BeagleZ. If you make it through the grueling gauntlet and find your way to the island, we shall build Hobbiton in all its glory!
I will do my best not to disappoint.
I will say this… in the game where people chose who they would like to be stuck on a deserted island with, the wives usually pick me
Thanks for the warm welcome Shags! Yes, bilbo special indeed, just a little taller
Cant wait to sit on the bench out front and have my morning pipe weed!
Then I was making my way around the site and discovered where the former inhabitants must have gotten lost out in the wilderness, perhaps led by Willow Wasps? And led to an early demise…luckily, I have been trained by the best aka Florida Man, so I wasn’t harmed.
They are supposedly seen by travellers at night over swamps and bogs. Leading them further into the dark, chasing the phantom light, until an unwary step sinks them forever into a dark, watery grave.
