I haven’t be in Jaco in 25 years but I did stay just south of there in Esterelles Oeste one night a few years ago. Stop at the bridge on the Rio Tarcoles to see some massive crocs. Don’t be afraid to tour around…it’s a good country.

Love most of that country, but the Caribbean side is pretty laid back. It’s just too bad Limon is there.

I went on a “cayman tour” one time which consisted of going to this ladies house and paying her money. She then led us to the local market to buy chicken. From there we walked a few minutes to the park where she started throwing the chicken in the pond and a shit load of Cayman started popping up everywhere eating and fighting over the chicken. All happening like 6 feet away from us standing on the bank of some pond at a local park. Ha! Best money spent!

Only time I almost got robbed was getting of the bus in Limon, by some child. I’m pretty aware of my surroundings and saw little dude hawking us. All part of the adventure.

I took my wife, daughter and a niece rafting (zodiac) down a river. We stopped, had lunch, then the guide asked us if we wanted to swim, so we did. Then we get back in the raft and head down river…5 minutes later he starts pointing out caimen all over the place.
I noticed he didn’t swim, either.

Ya, it’s pretty sketchy in Limon. In fairness, most port towns are. It’s why I’ll never do cruises. Hey, stop in every shithole in every country!

If you are looking for large plants the ROM would be a good choice.
I grew the rom outdoors last year myself with no issues.
Headband should be pretty good for outdoor too, I ran that outdoor too.
Not real dense but dense enough not to be fluffy if you know what I mean.
About the question mark.
I forget off the top of my head, but the question mark male was Mac 2, orange blossom special, and I forget the last, I wrote it down I may have to look.
