Thanks @shag I’ve been lurking but quiet for the most part these days
Welcome back @bassman5420 and Nice to meet you brotha!
I was thinking about it but was lazy to go get some haha. The scissor hash was very tasty and knocked me right out.
Welcome back to the living @bassman5420 or something like that.
Good morning @shag and all the islanders. Y’all are too dang funny! Thanks for all the chuckles, laughs and even a few guffaws that I’ve had along the way. lol
Good morning islanders. Enjoy your day
a loud and boisterous laugh.
You keep me on my toes my hillbilly wordsmith…
I am a bit late for good mornings…so good afternoon to you all.
I hope you all are havin’ a decent day.
Either way, make the best of what you got.
@shag
My motto is; if you can’t dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bullshit!
Let it be known it is working well…
LOL
I learned that from watching politics. They’ve got it down to an art form.
Good afternoon Islanders,
Reapers Glass Shop put in a few extra hours to get the Santo Domingo doors finished. Wednesday and Thursday put in 10 hrs trying to get them ready. They are done!!! All the Mirrored Gold Stainless Steel cladding is installed, it looks good, and the Client will be happy, but they could be better. I’m always looking for ways to improve the cladding process, the Europeans keep saying that it’s hard to find “Artisans” in the U.S., well, they’ve never watched what goes into making these doors.
EVERY piece is hand fitted and filed for fitment, that IS artisan work!!! Cladding doors is an art within itself, that is easy on paper, but a bitch in reality. I’ve gotten very good at doing it, and I’ll put my doors against anything from Europe, or the Big Boys here in the U.S.
Last pieces glued and clamped, 24hr cure and they can go!!!
Pictures do this no justice, but the mirrored gold is beautiful. You can see the shop lights in the reflection!!!
Next, custom doors for Cristian Louboutain in the Bahams, and a real tricked out pair for Cartier.
Hope all you Islanders are having a great and safe weekend!!!
So weird little bit of info I picked up it’s kinda crazy. If you take milk sold in the usa and take to the EU they consider it soda do to sugar content. Also our bread would be considered as cake for the same reason. Now can we figure out why the usa is the most obese country in the world.🤦
We can’t believe the size of portions when you to to a restaurant in the US…and the barrels of soda people consume!
Interesting …I had not heard the cake part.
I have not put in the research but our bread contains preservatives most bread in other countries is baked daily and does not.
Our food is really fucked up in this country.
So you are the one that makes that good beer
I think @MoBilly wants to meet you…he wants to know…do you have hands?
I heard you Artisians have quite the sense of humor too.
All joking aside you do some dam fine work brother.
Like I said the best I could do was fuck up the doors after they were made…
For that kinda work you have to be a patient man, shit has got to be perfect or it is a fight the whole way through.
I always wanted to make my own beer. lol
Whiskey is easier.
@MoBilly
Have you been keeping up with the flavor trends?
You know addin’ fruit and wood and such.
I tried some with oak and some with a sour apple jolly rancher but I have not sampled the fruit.
Do you use yours for ethynol extractions too?
I never concentrated mine, now I have infused moonshine.
Shoot man! I can’t name the many different additions we have made to squeezings. Last year I made sassafras moonshine, apple pie shine, red hot candy shine…
Right now I’m about to run off some banana brandy that has been working for a couple of weeks.
Variety is the spice of life after all.
Congrats #6 @MonasticDank ! You know what to do.
Excellent win. Congratulations @MonasticDank!
Nice one 420noob.
