Hmmm. Black is maybe 60 years old.
I’m gonna go with the creation of the Museum in DC. Took my kids when it opened like 4-5 years ago. 3 stories the bottom floor is the Maafa, being stolen and all that entails. Read what would later be in a family bible on a burlap sack, and touched pieces of ships and shackles. 2nd floor is like emancipation, reconstruction and Jim Crowe. 3rd floor is Jim Crowe to the present.
Full disclosure I was in tears as we entered and my kids were embarrassed.
