How’s the cat?

Doing better every day bud, thanks for asking. He is almost back to normal. Last night he was growling and dragging around his toy as he likes to do. It warmed my heart to see him wanting to play, eat and move around like that. Still not 100% but getting there.

I am so happy the cat is doing better. Animals and little ones don’t understand when sick. That makes Vets and Pediatricians are my heroes

Yeah and cat’s can be the worst. They don’t tend to show signs of illness like dogs do. Makes it that much harder to figure out. I have been dealing the same vet for almost 20 years with multiple animals. She is fairly expensive compared to some of the others around my neighborhood but in the end she knows what she is doing so it’s worth it. Her face just lit up when I told her she is an angel

Very true. I had to keep a close eye on mine because she would hide and I was afraid of finding her dead. She was at least 17.

Well a bit lazy yesterday but here are your Sour Bubbles today. It’s warmer here now so I got a nice environment going with temps around 29c and RH of 46% which great in flower. They look a bit thirsty but that’s ok, I just watered and it’s a bit late.

Also hit a couple bud sites on Grape Punch with Sour Bubble pollen, we shall see if it’s viable.

Fingers crossed for shriveled up pistils

Not that you asked and nobody ever listens to me but I pass 2 weeks cold in 2 -to 3 days when /if I get sick. bit of simple pasta, loads of hot pepper, and garlic/chunks.
under multi covers overdressed, sweat, remove all clothes/ shower/soap/germs down the drain. Laundry everything ( germs down the drain.) New sheets, blankets, clothes, and repeat process until no longer sick. ( hydration obviously due to the sweating out the sick.) Properly working out and destroying the germs never seems to be priority one or even a real thought for some reason to most people when I believe it is the real actual thing that can be done to get it out and over with.

Chinese medicine says that you are doing the right thing with the sweat. They also have you drink a strong ginger tea to promote more sweating.

Ginger is great. wonderful what just some shaved ginger in water will do in regards to making a stomach feel nice.

Bunch of slices simmering In water really does get you sweating under the blankets. I imagine a milder tea would be great for the stomach

Well I tell you, I rarely get sick and Covid is no cold so I doubt anyone is getting over it in 2 or 3 days. That said it only cost me 3 days of work so I would say I got over it fairly quickly. It lingered a bit but no big deal. All the things you mention make good sense, the cleaner you make the environment the better off you are.

I rarely get sick either. one year over and over but I was around two little kids that cold season. Covid effects seem to range. You seemed to have passed it fast at least, painfully but fast. Still have not been through Covid. Probably will be miserable for me. Been 12 years since I was sick. No shots or vaccines either in 35 years. Well, Hopefully, you will be out of it fully asap.

Looking nice in here @DougDawson . Sorry to hear about the pollen collection struggles but it sounds like you ended up with some that dried up and is hopefully viable :+1: Either way this run is really exciting and seeing all this sour b make it’s way into the community is going to be a lot of fun. Kudos again to you :raised_hands:

Hope you’re making your full recovery from covid as well. My younger sibling just got it pretty recently and was definitely down for the count for a couple weeks.
