I had a good experience with Texas highway patrol. We were going way too fast. He said “is there a reason you were going to fast?” We said “it’s a new car and we are getting used to it.”
He walked around the car, gave us a once over, and let us off without a ticket.
But I agree. It’s crazy down there. And up here for that matter. All it takes is one bad day.

You know I have never had a bad experience with Texas DPS. They were respectful and friendly. I also received a warning and a handshake. They have immensely more education and training than County Sheriffs or municipal boys. They’re the ones you have to avoid. Right wing Rednecks for the most part. Not to mention frighteningly racist.

On of my besties is taught and lived in Dallas for years. She stayed in and around there for several reasons. As a Polish/Scottish woman with a PHD, long blonde dreadlocks and tattoos covering her body from ankle to wrist to neckline… she wasn’t to popular in the bible belt regardless of her fair completion.
I on the other-hand stay outa the belt since once I was in Kentucky and I got told by someone randomly from the street while I was fuelling up: “Huh. We don’t get too many of you white N*$%^&S here often.” He didn’t blink and kept staring me down; so I kept eye contact until done and the same heading into the stall to pay (*also kept an eye on the vehicle while inside) because as a multinational Canuck with fuck long dreadlocks and a mixed completion i’m no fool… I also didn’t know the gun laws in that state.
People can be horrible but they can also be wonderful: Like here on OG!

That’s a negative.
Shark tank was gone before I joined so I’ve only heard tell of it. This place is pretty damn positive though and I can’t imagine any good coming from it.
