So that’s the long stringy part of coco that doesn’t hold water…
(chunks, fiber, pith)
That makes sense now…
That would seem to be a better place for plants than clay balls (hydroton)…
Cool.

Cool.
Next step will be trimming out fiber on top of net cup…
Mix Perlite with DE and add it to top few inches of net pot. The DE will stay dry.
What I like is without a lot pressure in system I can use less expensive part. End cap with a Lady Bug on seedling.
Heath! That name is almost like conjuring, calling up memories of epic builds.
Can’t wait to see the full system!
Epic indeed!!
Thanks for a look at what and how you are doing it
all the best in your grow and be safe

It’s normally around 55 deg day time and high 30 deg night time outside temps. Last week we got hit with 05 deg wind chills…
The rez temp was dropping fast. I countered freezing temps with an air pump that runs hot. Ran the hot air into the flooded tubes.I think this brought warmer air up and around plants from the tubes. Any way I survived 2 nights of 20 deg outside temps with only a air pump and hps light.
I lost a few days from cold weather… The flooded tubes makes me nervous… Im waiting on the rest of the roots to touch the bottom of tubes…Then we will switch from DWC to NFT…
this I did not know but I will dial him up
thanks for the heads up
all the best and be safe

I liked Plant Builder naked bulb grows…
So far so good!
I removed the dams for flooded tubes… Now we have NFT running.Been pushing these plants to hard with a lot of light… Switched from 1000 watts 24/0 to 18/6 to let them settle down.
nice lady bug and your plants look great
all the best
Dequilo
The lady bugs seems to like the plants… They just showed up out of nowhere. So I changed the room up to accommodate the lady bugs better…
