John Lee makes me recall Sunday mornings at Maxwell Street Market in Chicago in the 80s. Biggest hodge-lodge of sellers and people. Always blues players all over. All the greats were there at one time or another - Muddy, BB, John Lee…
Every kind of ethnic festival food. It went on for blocks. Nothing dull in the place. It was sensory overload. But fun!

not the same I’m sure but the beaches in the '90s …places like Ft Myers Beach and Panama City during spring break were pretty wild. And live entertainment and food was everywhere.
