It is quite gratifying to me hearing that you have enjoyed some of my musical ramblings.
I am aware that my music preferences are shunned by most of the people IRL I ever talk to about music.
When I think about the evolution of my musical taste over the last 55 years or so, I always conclude that it was my listening to Frank Zappa which stimulated my curiosity about Jazz and Classical music. Zappa profoundly altered the trajectory of my music consumption and resultant preferences. He was sort of like my “gateway” musician/composer.
