No Shit! Damn man I bet that was fun AF! I assume yer around my age not sure though. I’m 43 so most of those peps are several yrs older than me.
So Blonde and Patti Smith, etc would have been around at that time.
I went up there for the Fall at the Knitting Factory right after 9/11. And I was BSing with my buddy and asked him if he could image the shit we would have got into in NYC growing up.
Not sure if I would have made it out alive, lol!

in my youth would go to Harlem to the Apollo

The Ritz, Max’s,CBGBs

later places like the LimeLight, The Wet Lands

hang at the Library steps listen to the steel drums

sit in the park at the Fountain and listen to Grandmaster Flash spinning discs

would not have done it any other way

just glad I missed Studio 54 and disco

I lived in NE NJ, and would go into NYC frequently. CBGB and the Village Vanguard and
The Village Gate. I saw Blondie at CBGB in the summer of 1975… I think I was at this show…
