This is from what is, probably, my favorite non-jazz album of the past 20 plus years.
This is the only song that I have ever heard that describes (a little bit ) the agony of cold calling in the attempt to build a book of customers (clients) in order to make a living.That is what I did beginning in 1980ā¦smiling and dialing and soliciting investors in Municipal Bonds. It certainly wasnāt easy, but with persistence it developed into a very nice career, from which I retired some time agoā¦and I love the melodic sound of the guitars. Gigantic thumbs up for the entire album.
