The largest dose of LSD I ever took was on June 25, 1992. I was in the parking lot of a Grateful Dead show at Soldier Field in Chicago. A friend knew a guy who knew a guy so I stuck out my hand and received a puddle of liquid. Things got really intense and at set break I walked out of the venue for some fresh airā¦ and never made it back inside. I walked laps around Soldier Field observing all the chaos. For a while I sat on a patch of grass and listened to a busker playing his trombone. He played a melody that stuck in my head for months, but I didnāt know what it wasā¦ until I picked up a copy of Saxophone Colossus and heard it again:
RIP Blaze
My music playing device is feeling quite random this evening!
