I dig this band!
She is my one true love…
The crew working on renovations in my house plays classic rock all day. I heard Steve Miller’s “Jet Airliner” today which led me to listen to Paul Pena. He’s a blind blues musician who wrote the song originally.
He’s got a really nice album called “New Train” which features this autobiographical tune:
There’s an Academy Award-nominated documentary called Genghis Blues focused on Paul’s dive into the world of Tuvan throat singing. He originally heard it over shortwave radio and became obsessed with the style. He collected albums and essentially taught himself. In the movie he makes a pilgrimage to Asia to participate in their annual competition. Lots of scenes of cultural differences and beautiful landscapes. Nobel winning physicist Richard Feynman even makes an appearance!

Must be mostly over 40…
Hey! I resemble that remark!
There are some younger guys, but they are part of a father/son(s) team. Both the electricians and plumbers are family businesses.
You know you are old when the music you grew up on is now “Classic” rock!!!
That’s how my son and I are. He grew up listening to KSHE and still does.
