Gotta say… Recently added a few google home minis here. Being able to consolidate my spotify / sirius XM / iheartradio / youtube / personal MP3 collection on PLEX, TOTAL music collection to a single app, that I can just ask to play me things, and have it sync across the whole house? PRICELESS… Music is one of those things that truly can have an effect on your mood. And I haven’t been listening to enough of it, and have been rather depressed as a result. I kinda knew I was missing music in my life, but man, I am a lyric reader and a sentimental fuck. I needed a break for my own sanity… But its also one of those things that truly puts a smile on your face and brings you joy, so you always end up coming back better than before. Been cranking a bunch of stuff all day here, and gotta say, the tunes are almost getting me as high as the buds do 
They sure put a big ass grin on my face today. Grateful Dead to Marley, Phish to NIN, and a healthy dose of 80s hair metal.

And I LOVE having Sirius XM throughout the house now!!! They won’t let me transfer my truck license (lifetime!) to another unit (when I paid the $400 for the platinum lifetime in 2009, you were going to be able to transfer it 3x). Well, for years I only had it in my truck. Then I could also use their website to get it. Now its like I have a sirius XM receiver in every room lol HAH! No need to transfer it now, and I have a lifetime subscription! hells yeah!!!

It’s one of the things that separate the Beastie Boys from most of the hip hop crowd…for one, they actually could play instruments, for two, they didn’t pretend to be bad ass gangstas (other than in parody), and for three, they never took themselves too seriously. Actually, it was like they were trying to mock themselves.
