When I read that I immediately thought of Jerry Douglas. Pleased to see I was right! I’ve recorded a set by his band and it was amazing! I also recorded Dan Tyminski (band leader for Alison Krauss) sitting in with the Travelin’ McCourys to sing Man of Constant Sorrow. He provided the voice that George Clooney lip syncs to in O Brother Where Art Thou…
I’ve never recorded Alison, but saw her tour with Robert Plant which was great.
