Sorry if I tripped the guide wire. Sometimes i get down, cynical. I try to stay away from the TV and the media that brings me down. Vote or think any way you want, itās just I see things going crazy and nothing or nobody willing or able to stand up and deal with it. Itās hard to ignore. But I guess youāre right. This isnāt the place.

IMO the media & politicians are trying to drive us crazy with fear, on both sides. Itās a lot easier to convince someone whoās afraid to get angry and take action, preferably with their votes or a political donation. The culture war is a lot more exciting, and drives a lot more attention, than actually discussing the boring accounting/actuarial details of governance and lawmaking - you know, their real job.
