After a few listens through Halseyâs new album this is the winner imo. Iâm a big fan of Trent and Atticus, but when you add in their stable of studio musicians (Pino, Ghrol, Buckingham, Sitek) things get pushed to the next sonic level. If you canât tell, Iâm impressed
Shellac was the last show I saw live before we got locked down in 2020. Been trying to see them for years and it just never worked out, until then.
There was even one time I actually managed to get to the show and Steve Albini had broken his collarbone earlier that day(got doored while riding his bike).
