I donāt know about anybody else, but I need to remember to give thanks on a daily basis for the many things the universe sees fit to bless me with. Even the struggles, the troubles and the sorrows because they are an opportunity for growth and change. Without the hard times, the good times wouldnāt seem nearly so sweet
I caught Lettuce at a couple music festivals, but I saw one headlining gig in a unique venue: The Caverns near Pelham, TN. They use this site to produce the PBS show Bluegrass Underground, then host other types of music throughout the year. The performances take place inside a cave! The other notable musician Iāve seen Adam Deitch play with is jazz guitarist John Scofield (who, as a youngster, played in one of Miles Davisās last groups).
Sco was around 30 years old when he joined up with Miles in 1982.
He is close to my age.
(FWIW, I prefer the pre-electric Miles.)
I so want to catch a show at the Underground. There and Red Rocks are on my short list of venues to catch a show at

My other favorite ānaturalā venue is near Santa Fe, NM called Paolo Soleri Amphitheatre. Unfortunately it has not been used since 2010. It is on tribal land as part of the Indian School and they lack the funds to maintain it. I saw Dave Matthews Band there in 1995. Capacity is around 650 people. When I saw DMB in 1996 it was in a basketball arena with 18,000ā¦

That is a really cool looking venue, I wish there was some better ones where Iām at. Weāve got some historic theaters and stuff but thatās about it unless youāre talking about a show at one of the sporting venues where tickets are even pricier
