Any one rap, make beats, mix, master? Have demo or produced tracks. I do ( lots of demo junk made with Audacity and FL studio ( demo) plus I got beat making friends. . Just curious.

I make beats sometimes when I am writing raps,( I have a few, some are cool) and am desperate to rhyme over something but I am a writer primarily. Make beats you need to always have a comp programs. That is why I spent my time learning to write. Do you rap why am I sending beats to you lol Do you want to try dropping a verse on something?

I had a launchkey mini MK3 and a condenser mic but I ended up selling them last year when my laptop broke. Wish I didn’t cause I love making beats and rapping. I was killing it on Ableton live too! Was pretty sad that I lost a bunch of shit I had on the laptop though, probably the main reason I sold those 2 gems. Even had my kids makin beats. They loved when I hit their vocals with effects, we laughed so hard.

I was kidding, but if you sent some beats I would for sure crush em with a killa freestyle or 2. I miss making beats, gonna have to buy another mpc and laptop.

That’s awesome, not the selling part. I feel ya though. I am all free programs , used dell tower and a cheap amazon mic. Still fun.

I had so many free vst plug-ins. Some of them were so-so, but a few were excellent! I really miss those late night sessions on the keys with headphones on. Got lost in my own world many times lol.

HUGE hip hop head here. Used to co own a production company that brought some of the biggest names in hip hop/rap to Ontario for shows, features etc. Got to hang out with so many legends and smoke so much absolutely incredible Cali weed back then it was like an 8 year dream, no joke. All I listen to is hip hop, still freestyle at times, and we even still get some cyphers going from time to time. There’s still so much Dope hip hop if you know where to look, most went underground. One of the most underrated hip hop artists of ALL TIME IMO is Vinnie Paz, I love Slaine, La Coka Nostra, Sean Price (R.I.P my long time friend) Nas, N.E.M.S, and some Logic too.
