Cringe on all of them. seriously I can’t with that kind of rap. has nothing I look for in rap. My first rap tape was fun FatBoys. I had P.E and BDP, memorized at 8. 15 I listened to Del, Hyro and Gravegiggers, smith and Wesen, Wu, and Beastie Boys all while doing Acid for a year in high school. I don’t gravitate to commercial music I am too deep into the underground and too fucked up for that music made for normal people. lol

Dude, I’m “deep into the underground” too (what you know about Eugene Chadbourne? Or Part Chimp? Haha…), but good music’s good music. “Good Kid, M.A.A.D. City” is a classic album, one of the best of all-time. And that Trinidad James albums is the shit.
It’s fine if you wanna take your own art seriously; I do, too. But that doesn’t mean that I’m gonna not like shit that’s good, just because it’s also “commercial.” I remember a quote I read from Thurston Moore way back, where he said one of the things he loved about hip-hop was that they stayed real, but also “go for the gold.” And that was kind of a mind-blowing thing to read. For me, at least. But it’s true.
Being a struggling artist is cool, I guess, when you’re young and can deal with being poor. But getting recognized (and paid) for being an Artist is even better. I mean, I know I wanna see all of the people I respect get paid. Don’t you?

Kendrick is the exception, he is a solid and gifted writer. Do not like the production tho. too clean. like a beautiful girl I don’t want to fuck. I see it like this, it is like sex the more you have the weirder it needs to be to get you off. well i am in some dark places lol sure i want to see SOME artist get paid others not so much.
