One last thing, something never seen on OverGrow before…
Now for something I’m not too fond about. You can see that some of the pot didn’t burn. There was more along that edge than what shows because some fell out when I tapped out the ash, the reason being that lip between the holes in the screen and the wall of the bowl. That was unreachable by the flames. I had to stir the sides in to the middle to get it to burn. Just a little wasteful in that respect. Also the holes in the screen (which appear to be proprietary) has holes that are amazingly fine. That may be to help in the cooling process, I don’t know, but I can tell you that it will have to be cleaned about every three to five bowl fulls. And speaking of the bowl…
I don’t know about it being so shallow on the end like that. Can you imagine handing it to someone that is not paying attention (stoned) and they tip it forward too far? That could burn the finger just a bit. It only holds about two hits anyway so I’d say it’s designed for one person per bowl.
Now, does it cool? I’d say yes. It hits easier than any pipe (other than my bong) that I have ever used. My throat has been feeling great after my noon smoke.
Is it worth the money? I’d have to say no. I wouldn’t mind paying ~$40 but that’s it. I am on a very tight budget though so there’s that…
The ease of cleaning and the coolness of the hit makes it well worth having because of my voice. I generally smoke alone or with the wife so the size of the bowl isn’t a factor, and the screen will be cleaned after we are done using it for the day anyway so, again, not a negative on my part too much. The magnetic breakdown is ingenious. Magnets are too cool for school anyway! lol
That is my opinion on the pipe.
