Yep, I was overwritten as well.
Too bad we didnt have some sort of post telling us how to properly sign up for a wiki… That would be something to read…

I was looking at the history and it was actually someone familiar with the site I really think it was a pocket dial or something

It’s always the same people that do this. I’d say- call them out by name, but I’m way more of a jerk than most of you fine folks lol

If your editing the wiki it should tell you if someone else is as well.
When you go to save it will give you a warning that your about to overwrite someone.
So cancel.
BUT
You don’t need to only cancel, you need to back out of the edit completely!
Wait a minute and then try to edit again.
If you only cancel, and wait, and then go to save again in the same edit session it will overwrite. It only gives you the warning once per edit session.
So back out by deleting your edit, wait and then try again.
But usually while in the edit if you see another members icon below by the save edit button it means someone else is in it already so just cancel out and try later.

I would add that on this wiki, watch the number allowed to be added! There’s one that only has 5 spots already up to 7! (I’m looking at Super Lemon Haze)

What are the chances we could get a notification when we’re edited out of a wiki? Probably far fetched, but I know it’s not impossible.
Just saying, it’d be nice to be able to try to get back in line.
Guess it wouldn’t be an issue if folks could follow the rules.

This is such a nice surprise! Big respect and thank you to @DougDawson, @G-paS, and everyone involved in helping create these wonderful reproductions we’re able to choose from!
I’d missed out on a few signups since joining and had felt a bit of regret for missing them. I’d imagine others have similar experiences. With this I’m now able to add two varieties that I felt like I had missed out on, how awesome! Similarly, I’m stoked for others who are able to sign up for seeds that they have been interested in but felt like they missed out on them too. The feeling of abundance and shared abundance is so nice!
It feels like when I’m at the chocolate bar section of the store and I’m met with so many different options and choices for a chocolate bar. I feel like I know what I want but can’t help from looking at all the different types. I’ve been reading and researching about all these different types of seeds! This is so much fun! I like seeds so I’m totally stoked. Feeling grateful. Many blessings and much love

I’m guilty of adding a number to that one, I’m hoping greenfingers drops that one as he’s signed up for too many. So kind of like on standby…#7 though…IDK.

Not without re writing the software. I would love it if they would just add a feature that would only allow one person to edit at a time. When a second person tried to open the wiki it would give a message saying “Wiki in use, try again later”. Sadly, that’s also not possible without re writing the software but would solve all the wiki issues.

Thank you for the information! I put myself in at number 3 slots on both the Blue Kush and BMR, but it looks like someone took me off. I am not really sure why someone would take my name off of the wiki, but I don’t really have the time and energy to fight the tide haha.
