Beans for everyone (Part 2)

Yes, it was you. @ShiskaberrySavior. Instant flash back.
I am making a fresh batch, just waiting on something from India for it.
Mr. @CanuckistanPete, you I remembered and I am on my way to the post office with your stuff this morning. I have a strong dose container and a medium dose container. Sure hope it helps with the pain.

I woke up to these things marching down one of the stems. Are these aphids?

No clue, but look to be soft bodied, I could be very wrong. I’d probably try spinosad or citric acid spray. Alternate days for a couple days.

Yes, soft, cream to yellowish color. Quite a few of them, running the stem. Very slow moving. Just sprayed them with Dawn Dish Soap. I will have to do a bit more investigating.

That’s always a safe first bet. That plant isn’t in flower yet is it?

No, unless they made it across the room to the auto’s. I just sprayed the 2 rows closest to the ones I saw on a plant.

They don’t fly.

Thank you, kind Sir. These are coming just in time, as I start my 4-5 month lay off in December and don’t return until May. Perfect timing.

Just checked, everything looks good except these are not white.

As noted in Marijuana Garden Saver by J.C. Stitch:

Aphids are small pear-shaped soft-boiled insects about 1-3 mm long. There are thousands of species that vary in color from green to yellow, black, or brown. Some have winds; some are covered with wax or “wool” made from webbing they secrete, and others have unique distinguishing features.

Common to all aphids, distinguishing then from all other insects, is a pair of “cornicles” extend like tailpipes from their abdomen."

In the second picture you posted it looks like there may be visible “cornicles” but I’m not exactly sure given the resolution quality on my screen. Much respect @MynameStitch! Hope this helps. Many blessings and much love

My first instinct before grabbing the aforementioned resource guide was that they are mealybugs because of the fuzzieness noticable in the first pic. The second pic they looked more smoothed out so it leaves me a bit perplexed, though the literature mentions some aphids having a textured appearance due to their secretions collecting on their bodies so I thought it would be relevant to share. Much love

They are smooth, no fuzziness yet.

The algae on the rockwool, least of your concerns now, but it’s no problem for the plant. It’s really just an aesthetic thing.

The bugs, man I know I would feel same as you right now. I’m no help there but fingers crossed for you and good luck!

New pic.

I don’t think I see any moving, since the soap treatment, for now.

looks like aphids dude.

get some cold pressed neem oil and animal fat soap, or dawn, emulsify in a bottle and spray (use a teaspoon of the pure neem oil.

use like a pea sized drop of dawn, not even. that shit fucked with my vegetation but in smaller amounts my plants were fine

also, nothing works better then killing them with ur hands too!
