BT x CK Day 32:
So far the buds have a funky/skunky smell very similar to the smell I got from stem rubs in veg. Love it! I hope the finished buds retain some of that same smell & taste profile.

BT x CK day 53:
The weather here the past week and a half has been BRUTAL. We’ve had a crazy heat wave with super high humidity on top of it. It’s been in the 90’s with 70-80% (+) humidity. So with no a/c in the flower room it’s been really tough to keep temps under control. I Jimmy rigged up some “a/c”. I taped a box over 1 of the only 2 furnace vents in dude’s basement, cut a circular hole in the box, stuck some flexible ducting in the hole and ran it into the flower room. lol That’s helped a bit. Better than it was without it anyway…
I also turned the dehumidifier way up so it wouldn’t run nearly as much. And turned the LED down to 50%. So it has more yield potential for sure. If not for the heat I probably would’ve had the LED at 100%.
The BT x CK is showing a slight bit of heat stress but nothing too bad. Its actually handled the heat pretty well.
I think it would have tighter Bud formation if not for the heat though.
The smell has really developed lots more complexity. It still has that funky-ness but it has more of this complex vanilla and cream type of smell now with a funky back end. Smells amazing.

Well… as feared That heat wave definitely took its toll. It caused a bunch of new white pistil growth and some fox-tailing. If not for that I think it would look closer to being ready and the buds would look prettier and more tight/compact.
It smells amazing! I wish I was better at describing smells. It’s really complex. Like this funky, vanilla, creamy, floral smell. Super anxious to smoke it. Smells like some dank weed. Can’t wait to taste it.
Cannavore - just fyi I plan to run this one again in the fall under better conditions and I also plan to sprout the rest of that pack too once I do the sunshine daydream reproduction run and have some space.

It was hitting a consistent 90-91°f through the worst of it and I want to say a few peaks of maybe 93-94°f.
I also have low ceiling heights (6.5’) and have the lights as high as they’ll go so I couldn’t raise the light + it only dims in 25% increments (25/50/75/100) and I already dimmed it to 25% during the heatwave so I couldn’t dim it anymore either. 
so there was really nothing I could do to even try and counteract it.

nice dude! lil bit of foxxin but nothing too insane hehe. looking more like the CK in terms of the bud/pistil formation but much beefier! whatever the purple rhino is in the CK, to me it looks and smells like something dutch… SK1 or a hybrid of some kind.

Already widdling down the numbers but here’s 28 Waltz F5. Gonna cook up a Dawgs Waltz backcross with these.
Started some Headbanger F1’s as well but for the indoor seed project. Also preparing for a flower run.
My last pop with all the plastic shot glasses in the tray got ruined by my dog with the assist from me for leaving them on the floor and my tent open lol. So I need to re-do those especially the Lazy Sundae.
Also got the Lemon Tree cut from Archive in house the other week. Thinking about remaking my own version of GMO x Lemon Tree (the one I grew was made by a homie) and cook up some other crosses with it too. BH7 x Lemon Tree for instance I think would be a good one to hunt!
