ohh haha yeah its a pretty cool tap and hold process on photos app in iphone.

for anyone that does want to know ( and has an iPhone )

1. Select a picture - tap the screen once to wake the photo
2. press and hold on the area of focus
3. it should auto lasso the target and then you can copy or save the PNG.
