Yeah, I remember that, too. Late 80’s/early 90’s. Good shit.
I grew a Sunshine Daydream a few years back that turned out extremely skunky. Skunkiest weed I’ve ever grown, actually. Got into a friend of mine’s car with a QP and she said,”That shit smells like a skunk!” as soon as I opened the door haha. I’ve read a bunch of SSDD grow logs and reports, never heard anybody mention their plants turning out skunky, but the expression is there, somewhere… Might have to dig through a few packs, but it’s there.
Got three of Skunk VA’s Chem Fuegos flowering now. They smell fucking GNARLY and really delicious. I was watering earlier today and picked up on some skunk smells. I’m not sure which one it was, but one of them had some skunky shit going on. Very exciting haha.
Anyway, interesting thread. 1700 views in only like ten days haha. Motherfuckers are desperate for that skunk weed, I guess. I don’t blame them, love that smell. I’ll be watching this one for sure.

For sure, dude. I’m logging them here, shouldn’t be too hard to find. I’m really impressed with the Fuegos thus far. They’re stinky. You know how sometimes, reading breeder’s descriptions of whatever, when they’re like,”Extra carbon filtration is a must!”? That’s how the Fuegos are. I just hung a new carbon filter a couple months ago, but I’m still getting whiffs of it outside, in my front yard and backyard. We’ll see how they turn out after they’ve been dried and cured for a few weeks, but they definitely have a little skunky thing going on right now, along with that just raw, Diesel-y, nose-piercing shit.
Smells good.

I have a bunch of joti gear I can’t wait to get going. I like to always try different strains and breeders but every few grows I have to get some joti beans wet.
