Whoa!! Great job!! That’s way more than I thought was gonna come out of this. And that Cream and Cheese RKS sounds like some amazing stinky medicine.

Really great job with this. I really enjoyed your :writing_hand: ups and the way you kept it honest and straight forward.

So basically …you harvested 10,000 magic beans…

WELL DONE!!

I really like that you spotted that flaw in the plans :exploding_head:

But most of the ones I’ve seen do have a pressure valve of some sort

TLDR did anyone find rks?

Never actually saw one in action. Is there video somewhere?

There’s a few :slightly_smiling_face:

I like this guy, I dunno haha. 3mins version

Same dude. 7mins version

He is cleaning hemp seeds. I felt crop type was important for a demonstration. I’ve seen many cleaning pepper seeds, bird feed etc…

And kushking902, please excuse the lil hijack. I really enjoyed your growshow, the pollination was absolutely epic :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

@Mithridate By all means hijack away, seed cleaners are useful co op tools. I wouldn’t mind getting the blueprints and flaws of one of these sorted out for the next co op lol. Seams as good a place as any to brainstorm

Exactly. Since there’s an easier way to sort 10k seeds than by hand, I’d like to know what it is before having to sort those 10k seeds by hand.

Amazing, brother :man_cartwheeling:

The plans seem clear enough… and I think with enough trial and error and a gradated vent one could get fantastic results… ok possibly very minimal hand sorting if you really want to get every viable seed

my main gripe is the size, why so tall?

All the ones I’ve seen are this exact size, but why… ?

Would it be possible to build one half as tall (maybe not as wide too) without loosing efficiency ? Counter top seed sorter. instead of having buckets as part of the unit, I’d like a double bottom with 2 90* pvc elbows with detachable flexible tubing. Yknow for putting it away in a drawer or something

Am I breaking any laws of physics yet :rofl:

Edit: I’m fairly sure I have everything to build one. Big or small. Even the plastiglass. Also have a couple hours of free time saturday afternoon… plenty of reading to do, at least to answer the above questions :fire:

That’s great work @Kushking902. A very successful run, congratulations!

I’ve thought about that as well.
My guess is the longer path and triangular bumpers are to help remove the chaff. You should be able to reduce the height but would probably need to pass through a couple times.

First, I just need to say @Kushking902 you knocked this run so far outta the park bro!! I’m really happy to see that everything turned out great, and the plants looked awesome too :star_struck: gonna be some good hunting in these beans, I can feel it!

Second, @Mithridate I really think you’re onto something. I wonder if we started from scratch, went back to the drawing board, and designed something completely different, what we could come up with.

If we took the old school way of sorting with an album cover on an angle and incorporated the idea into the build, that would be epic! I’m picturing a small conveyor belt with an adjustable incline, either hand operated, or even by a small motor w/speed controller. The mix lands on the belt and seeds roll down into one bowl, while the rest gets lifted up the conveyor and brushed into another bowl.

Awesome work @Kushking902 for reals.
You made more seeds in 1 shot than I’ve ever made lol  Congratulations now you can grow Cannabis forever and never worrie about it

Ps IF there is any overflow (since it on that list)
I’m really interested in the Cream & Cheese CBD X RKS… I think Road kill Skunk & Cheese :cheese: would work beautifully in the smell department and having added CBD is just icing on the cake.

If nothing is left, I’ll trade someone something for half of theirs, if possible. ,)
