Inspiring @Kushking902 !!!
I have seen a scaled down version of this. I will see if I can find it!
Good growing mate. Good haul there… Congrats
Now we’re talking !! Last night I found a site explaining the construction and principles behind this zigzag sorter.
"Using the schematics given on the Real Seeds website we built a 3D model of the seed cleaner in SketchUp. This allowed us to get a better “look” at the machine from all angles before building it. It also helped us better understand how it will come together during fabrication. Further. It allowed us to easily scale to model size up or down, which is exactly what we did.
Once the design was complete we increased the size by 25%, while heeding the warning from the Real Seeds website – that doubling the machine in size requires 4 times the suction power."
Bingo!
They claim it takes 20hrs to build one, we’ll see about that lol
I’ve seen ready to ship sorters, identical to the plans, selling for 1 to 2.5k. Tha Fook.
Oh and I found this. Thought it was clever. And much simpler
Now the only problem is I don’t have a 1000+ of the same strain to test the contraption. Well I do have one but no way in hell I’m testing with that one lol
Some I have 100-500… ill just mix with saw dust and rice or whatever haha
I’ll try to build a 12" X 16" one
Be careful with that one it could be a seed eater lol might be ok with a small worn out vacuum but it looks like it has the potential to do some serious sucking
Lol. No.
Dozens of people have run heime cheebas $600 rks packs and every one comes to the harvest point thinking “if only I had one more pack to search thru.” It’s like the lottery. Everyone’s sure the winner is out there but nobody seems to find it.
Hardly anyone has the stones to admit they dropped 600 clams on magic beans that didn’t deliver.
Jack and the Beanstalk specifically warned us about buying expensive magic beans.
Topdawg didn’t find any rks in those heeime beans either.
Congrats on the successful run bud!! That’s a boat load of seeds
That is the one I made and you need to note the plan and measurement have a flaw.
Good to know, thanks @G-paS. I’m nervous about building one because my carpentry skills are not the greatest lol
One other thing about the plan is that it doesn’t have a trap door to reduce vacuum pressure on the back. In the 7 minute video he talks about it. Otherwise a straight forward build.
So I started building 2 smaller ones, 11 3/4 x 15 1/2, just a hair smaller than the canada posts bigger flat rate box, funny coincidence for sure
LOL, What a coincidence he says…
Show us what you did, when you get it working.
Cheers
G
Will do, they’re almost at the testing stage… only missing the 2 holes on top , front plastiglass and adjustable vent
Your welcome brother! Merry Christmas to you and your family
@Kushking902 Great work on the haul… definitely one for the record books… are these going on the spring box or are they getting sent out straight from you?
They will be in the spring box brother. I was a little late to get them into the fall box.
