I had cut a few snips of mine a few days before putting her into flower. I looked yesterday. Two cutting have started putting on those tiny white tips that will be roots in a few days.

I guess about sixteen weeks from now we should see something magical happen.

So far there is only very small buds on these plants. But I am still spreading pollen for these girls. Since the males showed so early I have a bunch of seed that has formed on the branches by themselves (odd I know). These seeds have been falling off the plants and are mature……

There are still a ton of seeds to be harvested …………

I am pretty well known for sharing everything I have with my frequent flyers. That includes beans and cuttings and even rooted clones. Stay tuned.

Too late to sign up for this one?

The signup is for the spring and fall boxes. You are to late for that but if I get enough seeds over and above the amount for that the extra’s will be going out to members interested. So stay tuned and let’s see how things go. From the looks of things I think there will be plenty for everyone…… @ShiskaberrySavior

Ok I now have about 250 seeds of Sheelavathi
saved from the plants. All seed that has fallen off the plants. The buds have a long way to go and I am still spreading pollen so I see quite a harvest of seeds in the future.

Looking geat @Oldjoints! Nice dark mature seeds and sharing is caring.

I hope folks will plant them out. Over the decades I bet I’ve given out 1,000 seeds and maybe 3 or 4 folks grew them out. Last sativa was Zamal from Gypsy’s trip to Reunion island. Guilty as charged although I am growing out some gifted seeds now.

Few tips that may make your life a lot easier regarding growing sativas - use a root pruning system (allowing you to use a smaller pot if you wish too as a bonus) and paclo to shorten the internodes and increase flowering. it’s a growth regulator used commercially in the mango orchards of India and avocado orchards in Australia. I had Bonzi for many years. Ran out and am using this now. What’s important is getting the rates right, the amount and frequency of apps. I use this stuff in the greenhouse to control vigorous avocado trees. About a week ago I soaked 3 pots of a lanky Afghaan 90 X 1990 Master Kush cross from Kwik Seeds.

Gave a friend some Viet. Dalat which takes a VERY long time to even show sex but when it does it explodes in flowers. It grew so fast, into winter in Santa Cruz he had to
remove the roof of his house. I’ve given away a lot of those seeds and he was the only one to grow them out. I grew Dalat indoors. It was quite the challenge.

Good luck!

@Oldjoints, do you happen to know the latitude of the area those genetics come from?
