Just like equatorial types like Dalat (11.9 lat) thatā€™s going to put this sativa flowering more by chronological age than as a response to a photoperiod you might have around 20-30 latā€¦

Please do some homework regarding this PGR. Paclobutrazol as a plant growth regulator | Chemical and Biological Technologies in Agriculture | Full Text

Sativas are known to have very long internodes. Paclo will take care of it. It is used in the nursery biz to not only decrease plant height (makes for easier shipping and better marketing) but it promotes flowering and fruiting. It also has fungicidal properties.

I looked for it and found it from several sources, none of them cheap.
A bit late for me to use on these plants as they have been in flower for awhile now and have stopped growing vertically.
The buds are very small as of yet but I am doing this for seed anyway and could care less about the bud.

Thatā€™s true, Iā€™ve just heard bad about paclo in vitro in particular. Research shows it can cause thyroid issues.

It definitely has horticultural use. I just donā€™t think that I would want to consume afterwards personally.

That tells me nothing @Butustank - what rate, frequency, etc. 200 PPM on poor lab rats twice a week? Your mental block is common, and understandable.

This is just one of the many tools and experiments Iā€™ve used as a gardener of about 55 years.

Fair enough.

@Oldjoints, yes, itā€™s very expensive. Itā€™s not unusual for me to spend $250 for a 8 oz jug of a specialty chemical. Take a look at Forbid 4F if you think thatā€™s expensive. I sent Cruz (dalat grower) from Santa Cruz some of these products. I sometimes get them free from distributors.

Yaā€™ll should at least investigate Keyplex 350DP. Youā€™ll struggle to get it unless you tell a rep youā€™re a commercial grower of sayā€¦sugar cane in Florida. I was gifted 5 gals. If you have a micro deficiency, itā€™s the thang. Lots of research papers on it. KeyPlex 350 DP - KeyPlex Plant Nutrition

Yes, itā€™s way too late @Oldjoints. Iā€™d be glad to mail you some later.

Iā€™ve got 2 gallons of a copper fungicide called Magnabon CS2005. A VERY broad spectrum fungicide, spray or soil drench, that will even suppress blights. OMRI certified too if you roll that way. I also have Phyton 35 in my toolbox. https://www.forestrydistributing.com/phyton-35-bactericide-fungicide-phyton

Appreciate the offer bro. But I have little use for these products.
I will look into some of the products you are talking about.
Thanks for all the info and some new methods to research and stopping by the thread.
If you end up wanting some seed you know how to find meā€¦ā€¦ā€¦. :+1:

Two weeks into 12/12 flower cycle. Ainā€™t seen a pube yet. But rubbing the stem is stinky and a little sticki-ish.

You should see some action in the next week or soā€¦ā€¦ā€¦
Then you can stop that lonely stem rubbing sticky finger thingā€¦.:flushed:

I now have around 650 seeds or so collected from the Sheelavathi plants. I removed the males as they were done producing pollen. That leaves us with 7 female plants full of seed. I have 150 people signed up and I want everyone to get 10 seeds of these rare Landrace seeds. I can guarantee this will not be a problem! I should also have plenty left over for Tracker and myself to distribute to the community as we see fit. How that will happen is yet to be determined.

You guys fuckin ROCK!
I am very happy so far with my Sheelavathi clone. Getting real big and pretty. 2weeks into flower. I just spotted the first flower pistil on her yesterday.
Hoping for some great Sativa from her, if I donā€™t fuck it up. Iā€™m running a couple clones, just in case. 14-16 weeks is nearly twice what Iā€™m used to growing tho. That will be a patience tester right there.

Yes that is why I donā€™t usually run 100% sativaā€™s. Not only does it take patience but takes up valuable room that I could be using for shorter flowering times on my Indicaā€™s.
To be honest I will be glad when I have collected all the seed and can clear that room for some new strains.

Glad I stocked up on ISS and Skywalker to smoke while Iā€™m waiting. But I do have three grow tents going. The little one is going to be used to make some ISS female seeds to give away. Then I have a large veg tent and a large flower tent. They are all going full blast right now.

I been stalking this thread from the start I think Iā€™m like 4th or 5th but anyways itā€™s really not important but what is important is I think I forgot something that I shouldnā€™t have forgotten (sorry bro but I smoke  ) so with that out of the way letā€™s get to the business, Hey ! ā€¦ @Tracker ! Thank You Bro ! This is fantastical stock and Iā€™m truly grateful bro, thanks again

I now believe I have the 1500 seeds required to fulfill the seeds for 150 members. I still have thousands of seeds on these plants so still plenty to spread the love beyond the sign-up.
