Will this be your first run in coco?

I recently started using coco too in the last few years. Itā€™s a lot of fun. I really like that I can get the growth rate of hydro but I can easily add organic inputs (unlike hydro, where itā€™s more complicated trying to use organic inputs).

Iā€™m going to be using all floraflex. Half gallon pots for veg, 2 gal pots for flower. Iā€™ll use the flora flex line of nutes and probably my 32 gal res I use for my blumats. Iā€™ll have a second pump in there to keep everything mixed.

Nice! So youā€™ll be using automated watering then?

Iā€™ve tried 1, 2, 3 and 5 gallon pots so far and I prefer the smaller pots for sure. Once the root ball fills the pot you can really hammer them with water and pull big yields, but itā€™s too hard to water by hand in the small pots IMO. My first run I watered by hand in 2 gal. fabric pots and it was a huge PITA. I was watering 3x a day and they still couldā€™ve used more. Second run I set up a top feed drip and by the time they hit peak flower I had them getting irrigation like every 90 mins iirc. (or 2hrs at most)

Iā€™ll have to find your grow journal and tag along!

Iā€™ve been impressed with pretty much everything Iā€™ve seen from crafty flames seed lines too, so Iā€™m curious to see more.

Yep going to be all automated, I need this to be as convenient as my organic grow is with similar or better results. I have another cross that has Tropicana cookies in it Iā€™m excited to run.
