Iv been through your thread again here and there and wanted to ask if your running CO2 In the shop with the NO-till or are you monitoring it? I have a theory that I picked up on one of the vids .

you mean that microbes smoke CO2? :smiling_imp::smiling_imp::smiling_imp:

Exactly! @reiko that’s where I was going with that one with whole notil bed decomposing and such that the notil beds are looking better because of CO2 enhancement ! Which gets my mind into working in over drive at times. I think I might lay some of my innoculated logs under my canopy for an extra CO2 boost from the fungi that are in them ! May be a tad late this year to see possible side effects but going to try anyways!

It’s the same principle as those exhale bags… I would like to get a CO2 monitor to test this in a smaller space… :+1::seedling:

Hell ya! I could make some of those damn things with some spawn and some pasteurize straw! Iv seen those go for about 35-40 $ at the grow shop! Hell one may as well just buy a mushroom kit ready to go for that matter!

Hey Fellas…No, I have never ran Co2 in my life…When I get over 2 a light, it has been without it. I just learned the strains, and kept my room dialed. I am planning to get C02 in the future, it can be a game changer for me.

On a side note…I took down my bed tonight…I will post pics soon of the bed before it got cut. I always hang dry, then trim…So I will post a pic of the plants dry as well, folowed by the weight (dry), and pics of the smoke after it’s finished.

I think the reason my bed did so good for the first one, could be because I got a good layer or two of Humus, and was jacking the em I made into them on the regular…I only fed this bed water the entire way through, with a cap of cold pressed squid juice, and B-1. I can’t believe what it produced for such little money, and time.

Thanks again for everyone’s help with this from the start…You are all l great people in my books, and share the same outlook on doing things the right way, by us, and the plants.

So to all you Cheers…This is all our work here, not just mine.

Kindest regards,

K.

I have also included a couple from some Pink Nuken, and another Nigerian…This entire bed was Nigerian Nightmare.

N.N.

Pink Nuken

And the bed from halfway don the shop…

Sorry I could nor get better pics for you guys, but I harvest in lights out…It did look to out compete my ol trusted and true super soil…Which I still love. This No-Till thing sure is the cats ass though…I will be continuing this journey with great diligence in the future…Getting in to making teas, and other products like the Aloe Vera spray etc…

Now even though I use all organic ferts and such, and I always still flush for two weeks…I am now starting to freak out about it burning clean (I know I’ve been told numerous times before, it’s not necessary) It is still got me freaking out…But as with any good grow, there has to be equal patience…So I will hold my breath. Once I have done it once, without issues, I will digress haha.

I was just curious how many plants were in the notill bed and what was there spacing and such? Congrats it turned out damn good imo can’t wait to see the next run!

Hey buddy,

Thanks for the kind words Amigo…And thanks for the help as well…

There were 31 in the bed, spaced out them out with two rows up the sides, and one row staggered up the middle. You can kind of see it in one of the first pics here…

I am not too sure what strain I will be putting in there for the next run…The Blue Tooth I put in the room late looks VERY nice, and they say it’s a 6 week strain, and for once I actually believe it. I have never seen a strain that quick before. I am sure I would let it go eight though, because I like to let my smoke really finish properly.

I will snap a pic of them in the next couple of days.

Woowee!!! Damn son, I love it when you update. Lol. You have my dream grow shack. I only wish I could have a grow space like that.

Thanks for the compliments HaRdRoC…

It is fun to have the ability to do this, but also a shit tonne of work haha. I do get to see them everyday as well, so I get my plant porn on the regular

I will post a pic from the rst of the harvest soon…It’s almost there. I have been closely monitoring the Pink Nuken, and it’s almost perfect…I like the eaves to fade, and turn purple-ish…

I also have to let the Mosca Bubble Gum go a while longer, same with the Strawberry Daiquiri.

The Jedi Glue is close as well, and the Bluetooth moma’s that came in super later…2 weeks behind, are blowing up fast. I will have a little variety to smoke, which is nice. The majority of the room is an AK cross? But I think it’s a Cheese strain of some sort…You can’t mistake that smell anywhere.

Hey Buddy,

A quick update on this topic…I had a small issue at the start of flower, with a calcium deficiency in my shop, not my bed…This is what I read about it…

When humidity is too high, the rate at which plants draw water from the soil is reduced because transpiration is slowed by the smaller-than-normal water gradient between the plant and the atmosphere. This can result in diminished nutrient uptake efficiency, which can lead to nutrient deficiencies. This phenomenon is particularly evident in the uptake of calcium."

I battled Humidity the entire pull this time around…Had three dehums running full tilt, with not a great result…Need to buy a huge industrial one soon…

But for the life of me can’t remember where I found it, and never included the link…I think it was happened to me…I am also just starting to get what seems to be a Nitrogen deficiency now haha. But am cutting down tonight, so am not too worried about it. I think it may have something to do with the fact additives in the soil I put in, have all been depleted, and I have been flushing for two weeks…I try my best to let the girls finish at their pace.

Speaking of flushing…I finally got to taste the Nitmare from the No-Till bed…And it was burning VERY clean…So all my worrying (even after you tried to tell me not too haha) was for nothing…You were right, there is no need for it, but it was hard for me to not flush haha. With the rest of the shop I flushed for two weeks…Everything seems to be super clean. I am trimming the Nitemare tomorrow, so I will make sure to snap a couple of pics for you guys…I will also snap one or two tonight, before I harvey… :slight

Talk to you soon Buddy,

K.

Ya your humidity will spike at night time you probably will already now this, the whole nutrient uptake sounds solid to me and one thing that will help is getting more of those fans we talked about as well to evenly dissipate humidity that may be isolated or in so call localized areas what was humid levels towards end of flower? At beginning… read up on VPD levels at different time throughout the grow will help immensely also glad everything went for ya sounds like you had a great experience with this round!
