Truffles Update Time! It’s Day 9 since the flip. What a difference a week makes. Average growth is 1"/day. They’re showing their sex now. Jackpot! It looks like 1 Male and 6 Females so far. The Trifoliate hasn’t shown much yet. I’m watching it closely.
#1, 24" I’m fairly sure it’s a male.
I’m thinking if #4 gets too tall she may have to grow outside. I think there might be enough good weather left till harvest. So far, they’ve been easy to grow. I’m going to up-pot to 5 gal fabric bags midweek and up their nutes too. Nice genetics Swampy
That Hiro sounds nice!!!
Wow #4 certainly got big on you! The GSC stretches but that’s a lot there. Indoors or out, I’m sure you’ll make em shine!
I’m liking 2 3 6 & 8 a lot. All super healthy. Excited for the nuggage
that plant looks great in the sun what it genetics?
That’s Girl Scout Cookies x Sakura
And 100 more likes added to that 1
Too stoked on these not to share… these are @LongBeachReefer ‘s pics from his test run of the Marukawas (Bubblegum x Sakura).
Looking fire bro!
Tagalong Truffles Update: Day 17 post-flip. Everyone got up-potted to 5 gal bags yesterday.
Just a bit root bound. Family activities prevented me from doing it sooner.#1 (the male) and #4 have been enjoying the daily sunshine and spending dark time in the sauna. It’s warmer for them than being outside 24/7.
The Trifoliate, 26" tall & still hanging in there. Her pre-flowers were all bunched up at the 8th node only, early on. Made it hard to tell what it was. A week later and they showed on the branches.
#5, 25" tall & suffering a little transplant shock.#6 is 2nd tallest at 34"
#7, shortest of the group at 24". Lotsa bud sites.
No problem man! They look great! 8 weeks today, right? Would love to see some preharvest shots of em unnatural light before they get the axe. How long are you gonna let em go @LongBeachReefer?
Resin city @2tokejoke folding up some resin tacos there actually!
Looking good @Yooper63 do you ever have issues transplanting them that late? With stress and stuff? Also curious why you do it so late? In my experience first 3 weeks is usually when they finish stretching. Never tried this myself but hopefully they do well.
Looking nice and beastly!
Here is a little trichome porn from Icculus. She’s picking up a lemon lime smell under the strawberry cherry starburst. You did good with this one man. @Swampthing
Glad you like 'em @Swampthing. Everything’s pretty much dialed in, just waiting for those buds to take-off.
I usually up-pot at or before the flip, this time I was too busy.
Not many stress related issues. This time #5 was drooping, but she was fine 12 hrs. later.
It’s not something I try to do. Sometimes I get behind schedule. Operator Error, lol.
Really like number 4 & 7
You may change your mind about #4 @Swampthing. I found this today. It’s the only one. I found a bunch of these 3 grows ago on some Borderliner XTRM. I gave up plucking them all off. Those plants never hermed.
Is it a mutant bud site?I also found some amber pistils on one main stem. Isn’t it too early for that to happen? Maybe it’s the stress of moving outdoors?
I meant to ask, is there’s any Dragons Blood in the lineage? It developed a purple droplet soon after topping.
