Yea he threw in a pack of the Cbh x A5Haze/Thai Bx in for free because he knows it’s probably gonna be some searching for that specific “piff” pheno; and what I read from other post it looks like cbh is where it started. Also, Right on Btw!! My only issue is, I only wish I had taller grow space… I live on the 3rd floor so I have slanted ceilings and my tallest tent right now is 60" or 5 feet. I plan on buying a taller tent in the fall/winter but til then just been topping and flipping after minimal veg, with the piff s1 I just popped i’m gonna throw in flower tent after just a few weeks, not even 10-14 days because I kinda have an idea how long the flower/stretch gonna be

could always top early and scrog em… i like stretchy plants in a trellis, theyre easy to manage as they spider out and you can just keep pulling them down with twist ties if they still get too tall… tent grower here for years, always used a trellis once i realized the benefits, really helps keep that even canopy

Right now I have a bandaid Haze ix3 hunt in early flower.
Also got a Sour D x Dragon Energy hunt in early flower.
Really excited to see what these do.

mine even at 70days and a microscope of ripeness was super awakening feeling. i smoked it at 110pm at at 130 I was like was I am still awake and had to smoke some indica kief to pass out lol

I found that some phenos of the outer limits have a good amount of mental stimulation and creative thoughts carry over from the sour D side of the cross.
The Afpak side passes a relaxing skunk type effect that’s very calm with no paranoia but it’s not what I would consider supper sleepy.

I bought 10 packs of the CBH x A5htbx to hunt through. I cant wait to see what you found. This thread keeps me so me so motivated and excited. When I see pics of 
plants. I have seeds of. This plant has taken over my life, lol. I bought a 4’x4’ tent to start my first grow in last spring. Now I’m in process of converting old smokehouse (12’x9’) into a grow room lol. I love this plant!

There are a lot of different phenos and diversity in the CBH x A5HTBX and it’s a pretty technical hunt.
Expect a lot of wild long flowering types with open structure and some freaky phenos with variegated leafs.
I selected two keepers…
-
longer flowering type with foxtail structure on the crowns. Terps = Basement/Mop water high notes over frankincense undertones. Similar effect/taste to CBH but waaaaay more potent.

Shorter frame pheno with chunkier more modern nugs. Frankincense terp profile. Slower veg rate/stretch and faster finish then the other keeper. Basically the same as the CBH mom in structure but leans toward the incense profile.
I’m always stoked when I see other growers doing 10 pack hunts. That’s the way to do it proper and know for sure you’ve got the best possible keeper the line has to offer. Also it gives you a real glimpse into what’s possible within all the expressions that you just can’t see when you run smaller numbers.
