Fall 2021 Solo Cup Grow Off

Tonight I took it upon myself to call it, she got the chop and is now hanging to dry, 65 days from 12/12, 98 days I think it was from germination, I was a day or two early, two I think

Here she is for the last time before chopping

A little root porn for you all. Not much to see, just a lump of roots. Somewhere in there is an airstone.

Some close ups of the buds, there are a few clear trichomes left but most are turning fast

Now I just have to be patient and wait for the buds to dry so I can weigh and cure. Wet hanging weight is 325.08 grams

I stopped taking the wet weight as it made me sad when I then did the dried weight.
It was MUCH worse when I was growing mushrooms as you know that a HUGE shroom will equate to a tiny stick by the end of the drying period.

Had thousands of weed photos on my phone like a teenager ,I’m going to start to delete them after every grow,can always copy them from this site if I need to

Simply amazing. If I pulled my roots out and they look like that I can guarantee you the next time they will be in a bigger container. I would be freaking out. Very good stuff. I have started with shorter veg times. I did one last year. I never showed any pictures of it. I did the 2 cup method. Roots are growing out of the cup. Lol

@Stevie1durr I hung the whole plant from hydroton up. From the 4th annual grow.As for the manifold grow it was a forbidden fruit fem over a cross i made and im starting a fem seed run on it now. Congrats i can’t wait to go head to head. Hats Off to ya! P.S only netted 64.5 grams from first one.

I’m lost if you have 2 cups inside of each other you still need holes in the inside cup for water to get in lol

To be honest you’re actually thinking about it the true way. In my opinion it should only be grown and one cup. I actually was going to ask you about that. When I was a kid I would grow in jars like that. I never really had anything. But the point I could see if they were dry or not. That’s why I used and freezer bags. Very easy for trans planning a little aggravating in the beginning.
