I live in the Almaguin region. Itās incredibly beautiful out here if you havenāt seen it. Forests, lakes, thereās a whole world of beautiful nature. My hometown, Sundridge, even has the largest freshwater lake in the world without an island.
One day, as I was getting up for breakfast at my grandmotherās house, backed up to a beautiful small lake in North Bay, I saw a herd of deer stampede across the backyard. It was stunning and beautiful.
I saw a similar thing this winterā¦ 4 deer crossing the ice on the lake, but at first 1 was roving and waiting, waiting, for his family to catch up. We were all watching because we couldnāt see his family and we were a bit concerned, but they were just next door nosing around.

Iām able to take my son fishing on the same lakes and ponds that I grew up fishing. Itās our time to commune and learn about the outdoors

I live in BC Canadaā¦
I have every thing I ever need here.
Rivers, lakes, mountains, waterfallsā¦the Pacific ocean is an hour drive away.
Natural hot springs too.
I really have no reason to leave my home landā¦
