Knowing %s to mix is a bit out of my range of expertise… guess that’s why I buy a premixed living soil hehe

sure, no worries @DrGonzo13

Didn’t realize that you have some fems and I already have some bad Dawg gear coming :+1:t2:

@highminwin I would like to try the Tres Star Dawg x Runaway Bride, if available. Thanks! ☆DJSF

Truthfully that ocean forest probably has a lot of the ingredients that you need already in it, you don’t want to go too hard too early, I would just fill with the FF and top dress a couple cups of EWC. Use the micorhizae on the roots of the plants when you put them in and then once they’ve gotten bigger look into top dressing with some of the amendments you mentioned. The beauty of the WV with the mulch cover is that it helps breakdown dry amendments faster to make them plant available faster

Good luck growing much without WPM, I’m in your region and the last few years have been absolutely NUTS for humidity, I hope that they’ve got something that is mould resistant for ya.

hmm, hard to say @Bizzaro. maybe the lightworker since it seems a little more indica leaner? a lot of what i have are longer flowering sativas right now otherwise.

I did Lemon Kush last year, and though i didn’t end up with lbds of it, there was no mold at all.

I usually add a few 5 gallon bucket’s of compost, i have a lot of plants.

Spread a big tarp on the floor and throw it all on there on a pile, then you can take two opposite corners of the tarp in each hand and move them up and down, sort of shaking the soil with the tarp so it gets mixed. You don’t even need to get your hands dirty!
But I like getting my hands in there too though, there’s nothing like it.

Fungi need carbohydrates, throw about 10 lbs of kitchensraps in there too, along with some grassclippings and tree leaves if you have them laying around.

Then just keep topdressing with kitchenscraps and also sow some covercrops like vetch and clover for example, to keep the nitrogen going.
Chop & drop half of the covercrops when they start flowering and let the rest go to seed which then also go back in to the soil, to sprout again.

You can do the same with your cannabis, chop & drop half, harvest the rest, there’s no better soil for cannabis than composted cannabis.

That’s great to hear! My Deepwarp did ok and was not Infected, but my Lemon Wookie v2 (an outdoor strain from Bohdi) ended up with a decent amount of WPM on one of two plants, no matter how much defoliation I did and care I took.

One good lesson I took from build a soil: if you mix amendments into your soil you need to be precise, if you top dress you have a little more room for error. When I. Doubt put less in the soil mix and top dress more. Especially with an EB

Sorry @DJSF… Star Dawg makes me happy in all the right ways. Had to snatch that one up.

If you’re in Canada I’ll split them with you if you’d like!

May have been because the buds were so spread out / not dense, but since i ended up with anything (2 full quart mason jars), i call it a success for my first go at it. Dialing things up a bit more this year.
