Lol! Cheers man! Appreciate you!
Going to leave you with my favourite dark star
who knows, may be back a little more sleep deprived in a bit and give out some more.
@sprinklememaynee
I’m not to old but its cool to here my mom tell stories like when the doors played at her high school in 1967 man i was born at the wrong time wrong drugs lol
man me too! I honestly cant believe I missed out on the 70’s lolol. Grateful to be alive now, but really wish I could have seen Jerry. Been trying to figure out how to at least go see Dead and Co, but not the same.
Been to many Dead & Co shows. Make it happen! Phil Lesh is amazing.
While you can’t go back to the '88 tour…There a re a really great crew of Dead cover/tribute bands in my area. Asbury park NJ USA. The Spirit is alive and well at the Jersey shore. Given, most of the crowd has grey hair there are a good amount of late 20s-30s in there too.
@justdrew
Phish
You are the man
I was in Seattle in late 90s
Son went to Fed High
Drunk off my face in Burlington in 85 at Nectars…OG. I was still a metalhead at the time and not on the bus yet.
Late 90s in West Seattle growin the FIRE, and fully on the bus.
-Endless battles with spider mites and humidity…and no OG website.
I was really blown away by the history of chem and the intersection with dead and dead tour. Super fascinating. That lead me down the wormhole to the brotherhood.
26:10 …26:22 " I want to thank you for accepting me in to your life & up here playing music & I hope you can tell I’m doing it from the heart, thank you very much for being so kind & good to me & I will pay it forward I promise. feels real
We moved up there in 98 so I could live there an drop in so cal we raced mx all over that state moved back to grow in ventura Beach in 2009
Where are you when @Slick1 gives me shit about Phish! I seen the boys 87 times and counting!
Damn! Nectars… Thats the stuff of legends man!
He does fit in well, brings his own style, doesn’t try to replace Jerry, but I think he fits rather well oddly enough. Saw him play with Dead & Co a few years ago “Playing in the Sand” in Riviera Maya, MX (at Barcelo Maya), gotta say, was a KILLER run of shows
Too bad they are mutually exclusive these days Its Dead & Co, or Phil & Friends. Hard to get a chance to see Phil back with the rest of the Dead, and I am a Phil fan!!!
@justdrew
Bro I had a dude I picked up from got straight from a grower it was dark green an dank as f
Growsr moved to Hawaii dudes name was Scott used to smoke out of snowballs lol ice bongs an shit
Don’t forget Billy and the kids!!!
@Nagel420 i listen to really fast loud hard shot but I have respect for originality an uniqueness
Always put Phil in to Pandora/Spotify…etc. vs GFD. Phil seems to regulate better, les sluring and Jerry issues.
