Yeah, lol, me too. My oldest sis lived in Midland and her husband passed from cancer and I moved there. Some good and a lot of bad when you look at the big picture. I have a good friend there though. He gave me lots of nice contract oil field work. He has an environmental company.

I actually still do work out there, just super slow so I took a job working for my buddies construction company. Getting to travel the country is cool. I’m in Colorado right now, head out to California instead of Florida now in 2 days.

thats cool bro. Since I moved to the Dallas area I got tired of making the drive every couple of weeks and then got laid off a few years ago when the oil field was slow going so combination of the two. Im originally from lubbock so when I was there the drive wasn’t shit but from out here you’re talking 9 hours each way…plus I was driving a semi out there…thats a lot of driving my dude like screw that…damn good money im missing out on now tho. Thats cool tho good to know some of yall are from my neck of the woods

Yeah I stay out between 6-8 weeks then i would go home for 2. I was driving from carlsbad and man i hated it.
