I do, I dip in clonex or other gels then I dip in stimroot #2 powder… probably overkill but I’ve been getting great results
Any misting or covers?
Doesn’t it give us a major lesson bout being human and a decent one, for that matter!? It never ceases to amaze me!! Right on!! One simply can’t stop learning and growing, just like our own babies, plants and people!!!
Same here except I got the roughneck tote at lowes LOL… And I put an auto topoff in mine
My air pump is overkill for just this (but I have several from my ponds), eventually I wanna play with a DWC side by side Soil, and I can split some air off this and still have some to spare.
@Abbbian Once I built my first aeroponic cloner 10 years ago I was hooked. I failed miserably with jiffy cubes and rooting hormones. I honestly just clip and stick now. The one I pictured on my thread is brandy new and I bet there’s roots on them in 10-14 days, and I won’t do a thing to them (the auto topoff is handy for the cloner). I will never clone another way again… Once you see how easy it is, you’ll be a believer too…
No cloning gel / hormones.
No tent / dome
near 100% success rates (I think variance there depends on dialing in the system, ie. water level, how long the clones are, etc) I keep the bottoms of cuttings 1/2" or so above the water, they get soaked from the bubble spray. Roots will grow down and into the water…
Nope, nothing
Here is what I did, these are just screen shots of what I sent someone that was asking for help building one a few months ago.
YES!! I bought the equivalent to Clonex here in Brazil, but by the time I was about to use it, had already learned from using Aloe Vera as a rooting aid, and never even touched it… So far, with knowledge, I literally know I will never need it, or some of the likes of Clonex! Learning is indeed power! And we’re constantly learning with the next move!!
Edit to that post, I now run my heater at 75deg, less algea buildup, takes a few day longer for roots, but the reservoir stays cleaner
Very nice and useful information, thank you for adding.
I’m at 72… and no issues with roots in 10 days in the past…
Doug you’re trying to not let us go to sleep, are you? Damn hot babes! Beauty floods!
I thought he was calling us all nerds… LOL
It’s the joint wrapping his head up, he’s up in the clouds of wrapping joint paper! hugging him…!
you know what, he will tell to turn the light off! I can see it!! He’s worried about energy waste here!!
I’m deaf but Queen is one of my favorite bands to jam to in the car.
Holy cannoli, really!?
Are you able to hear the rhythm or low end?
I can feel the bass line.
I feel a lot of John Deacon’s basslines, too. Great bassist.
That’s fascinating though.
OK only 322 posts to go through @ ‘only’
