They make hydroponic cloners that spray water on the roots as well that some people really like.

I find this super weird… I have a daisy aerocloner I bought in the early 2000s, which I had stored for awhile, and when I broke it out in recent years I’ve had almost no luck cloning with it.

What has worked fairly well for me is cheapo hormex cloning powder and shoving them straight into damp Promix.

I was hit or miss with a bucket style aerocloner until I did a very thorough cleaning and sanitizing of everything and started adding a couple drops of bleach per gallon of water. It worked better then but I get almost 100% with just the plugs and Hormex powder so I stick with that. I’ve thought about straight to soil but as long as this is working for me I don’t want to experiment for now.

I did my best to clean it all, ran bleach water through the pump, etc, but didn’t try adding bleach to the reservoir water.

Like you said, if it works…

Maybe I’ll try again but for now I’ll stick with what’s been working.
