What’s the Afghani Kush purp like by itself? I think I need to do that purple Thai right away. Sort of stuck at home with nothing else to do, right? I already have 3 other sativa sprouting.
The weather has really been nice lately. Hot early, then cool, cloudy, and rainy in the afternoon. Still dry for the most part though.

I just scored a full pack of Sebring ssdd, think it will go well with a Maui and Kona Gold run. Painted the lowers of the @lefthandseeds Triple Durban today, the male had locked in a small pot and window light, was able to get a main stalk clone and I picked the pollen sacks with tweezers and rubbed them into the lower and mids. So if it takes there should be some F2’s to Search for a robust male to back it as the “First Lady” Out of three seeds has taken her place as one to beat. I can’t say enough about this plant or you’d think Lefty was paying me…if he shared with you…Run them!!!
Also anyone who got the Pineapple Thai pollen thanks to @Trowertripper, I painted everything I had in flower with half of what I sent out. Picked one lower from the Skunk#1 x Black Pearl…which is now SK1 x BP x Pineapple Thai 40 seed strong larger than both progenies, dark mottled snakeskin with a week left for harvest.
This weeks entrant is Afghan Kush (purp) x Black Pearl with about a week left to go. Smoking some Panama Red and Black Pearl
Runtz x Sweet heirloom- this is my buddy’s grow who is running seeds I made. After a pheno hunt, I applied STS and now have the fem of this runtz heirloom cultivar crossed to Zkittlez, Purple Punch, Strawberry Cheesecake (HSC), Banana Mango (HSC). Runtz had more gas creamy funk than I expected so I’m trying to make it more sweet fruity candy. I have a couple more cuts that I may cross the leftover feminized pollen with, Cherry Punch (Cherry Ak47 x Purple Punch) and Tart Kush.
Dam those look like they’ve got serious frost happening nice job .If you’ve got extras I’d definitely give some a try I’ve never ran any of today’s hyped up strains that are all the rage!
I probably will have extras. I try to keep a large number together for pheno hunts, don’t want to miss a unicorn. There are a lot of large recreational grows around where I live, so they usually prefer to run the hyped strains and it makes it easier to do R&D with larger pheno hunts. The Banana Mango from Humboldt Seed Company isn’t a hyped strain (yet). I only make pollen from two heirloom cultivars I got from an outdoor organic breeder about 10 years ago, but I often do cross them to hyped strains because thats what the people want and it usually does increase the frost/trichome appearance. Lets keep in contact and maybe I can send you some beans to test. Here is a pic of Tart, it is a Sour Diesel crossed to a heirloom kush that does well outdoors here in NorCal.
Zkittlez doesn’t have that much frost, it really doesn’t look that good, but it smells and tastes great. Supposedly Runtz is Gelato crossed with Zkittlez, but I don’t see much of the Zkittlez in Runtz so that is why I am crossing it back to Zkittlez. Purple Punch can be considered hyped, but lots of people hate on it too. I personally like breeding with it, it looks, smells and tastes great, plus when you breed you go into the ancestors and Granddaddy Purple and OG Kush are nice lineages to go into.
