it’s funny ya know… way back in 88/89 when I met the guy that ended up being my growing mentor for the following 6 or 7 years , it always amazed me how the ashtray was always full of 1/4 and 1/3 of a joint sized roaches. Whenever we would smoke a joint it would get down past half way and Sandy would be … I’m good, you finish the roach. I’d be like… it’s still a joint!!!
I am glancing at my ashtray and roach jar right now… it’s full of 1/3 's of joints

When I was a younger I would love an ashtray of those “roaches”
We would smoke the joint all the way down to the end. (There were no such things as filters. I still never used one.) Put a roach clip on it or use a smoking stone.
If nobody had either we’d use a Jefferson airplane or just burn our fingers. When there was a dry spell I’d love a few of Carty’s roaches. We would also hide roaches and a few buds knowing a dry spell would be coming.

Dry spell every year and you were lucky to find a bag of grandmas bush if you were luck till fall. Seemed to always be the end of the summer drought.

Yeah It was always the end of the summer dry spell over here too.
Then it was the dreaded resin smoking. Luckily there was always Turkish hashish around and that resin was bearable. lol. Now those days are gone. woohoo.

Can’t even find any good hash in the USA any more. My brain wife’s sister used to bring a shit load of here from Switzerland every fall, but not no more because of the big airport shake downs.

Bummer. I guess you can always make your own hash now. Last time I got has was a few years ago.
It looked nothing like hash. I think it was pressed kief they called hash. I never tried making hash but want to try some day. We used to get the temple balls with the gold leaf stamps. It was great.
