New to the site. Long time grower, and a member of other grow sites. Have been lurking here for a while, and like the open community and seed sharing. Live/grow in the Chicago-area with the below equipment list. Looking forward to becoming a member of this community.
Lights or outdoor: Budget LED - Series 2+ 250W 3500K
Room/Tent size: 2’ x 4’ x 5’ grow tent
Ferts or no ferts: Mega Crop
Pot Size: 5 gallon fabric grow bags
Growing Medium: ProMix Soil with additions
How long you been growing: 5+ years
Auto or Photo: Both

Not to mention there root structure is really wide opposed to being deep

Hi, I’m a novice grower. I started over at GrowWeedEasy with their great instruction and friendly forum and I’ve come here seeking a larger community of growers. GWE’s leader is a great gal, and I guess I didn’t realize how much that affected the attitude of the community because just by lurking I’m already getting the feeling it’s a real sausage fest around here. I hope my first impression is wrong!
My set-up:
small 2-in-1 tent: 2x2’ flower plus 2x1’ veg
Lights: High-Output T5s in veg, Vander 2000 (220W) in flower)
Grow in Mother Nature 70/30 Coco/Perlite blend
General Hydroponics Flora Trio nutrients (using half of label strength) with Hardwater Micro
My first photos are currentlly vegging. I’ve grown a couple of autos before.

I just introduced myself too! I’m a new grower and at my age I shouldn’t be surprised by things like this any more, but with gardening in general being very popular among ladies in general, I was surprised to see that it appears to be more guys than gals here. That’s what I get for not knowing anyone else in the canna community IRL! I suppose I figured it was girl power all the way. Assuming, blah blah.
